Matthew Morrison is fantastic. He’s most well known for his part as Will Schuester on Glee, and frankly, that’s how I discovered him. I’m a bit ambivalent about his character, but there’s no denying that Morrison is extremely talented.
Matthew Morrison performs at the 2010 Tony Awards and shows that he really is a triple threat — the man can sing, dance, and act (and can he ever).
He has a voice like an angel (see video below of him singing “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables).
And singing “Leaving On A Jet Plane” in New York:
Morrison also sang “Springtime for Hitler” at the Kennedy Center Honors, honoring Mel Brooks (the singer in the movie, incidentally, was John Barrowman).
He’s just very impressive. He’s even been on Broadway: he was Link in Hairspray. Maybe I’m a snob, but I feel like that adds to his musical credibility — he’s not just a TV star who happens to sing; he had a leading role in a musical on Broadway.
