I cannot get the Glee/Darren Criss/Chris Colfer version of Hey Monday’s “Candles” out of my head. It is so gorgeous. And the video of it is just adorable (even though, listening to the lyrics, it’s not exactly the most apropos choice for their love song/duet vibes and the little hearts in both their eyes).
Really, I’m not sure how you could go wrong with Darren Criss and Chris Colfer singing together. Colfer has the voice of an angel, and I pretty much want to be Darren Criss (well, I mean, except that he’s straight and cis, but no one’s perfect, right?). And when they sing together, I almost forget that there’s anything else I might ever want to listen to.
Seriously, though, “Candles” is just a beautiful song. And I love their chemistry and the fact that they’re two boys singing a coupley duet. Oh, and they’re beautiful and charismatic. And their hair! They both have fantastic hair. I also kinda love their Dalton uniforms. Have I mentioned that there’s totally a part of me that wants to be a Warbler?
